Poem 2

Mother,
you brought me into this world,
you gave me life,
you suffered for me,
you sacrificed yourself for me,
you gave me up because you thought your love wasn’t enough for me,
I want to tell you,
thank you for your suffering,
thank you for your sacrifice,
I appreciate your sorrows,
I appreciate your pain,
and above all that I can feel you with me,
and that I admire you for your bravery.
